What Our Clients Say

About Our Services

We pride ourselves on the vast depth of experience and empathy we give to our clients.

Our philosophy is to listen, evaluate and then discuss how each and every person is supported.

This holistic approach to care is highlighted in the wonderful testimonials we get from clients.

"Wow what great service, I love it!"

My name is Robyn McFaul, a relative of a resident at an Aged Care Facility in Brisbane where Denise was the clinical nurse for some 9 years. I have known Denise through the Aged Care Facility for several years. Denise is an outstanding nurse who is very knowledgeable, passionate and efficient in all her duties as a nurse. Denise’s door was always open and she took the time to get to know my family and the needs of my mother which gave me the confidence to go on an extended overseas holiday last year knowing that Mum was well cared for. I highly recommend Denise who is now part of the Maroon Care Leadership team giving quality care to the elderly and disabled.

Maroon Care is the real deal! It's really wonderful."

My name is Dr Gemma James, General Practitioner Brisbane. I have worked with Denise over the past 6 years whilst visiting my patients at Bellevue Care Centre, Ferny Hills. Denise is a highly skilled, and dedicated nurse who not only excels in her clinical knowledge, but also in her rapport with staff members, residents and their families. Her leadership and organisational abilities have been an invaluable asset to the medical and nursing teams at Bellevue. Denise’s commitment and professionalism are reflected in the deep respect that she has amongst her work colleagues and residents in her care. I am positive Denise will embrace her new role in the leadership team at Maroon Care with the same enthusiasm and initiative.

"I will refer everyone I know."

Denise Gluer is a registered nurse who I, as a GP, have worked with at the Residential Aged Care Facility, Bellevue, in Ferny Hills for the last 9 years. She was employed as a Clinical nurse, supervising junior nurses and carers, liaising with hospitals, doctors and allied health professionals and communicating with residents’ families. She brought to the job a wealth of experience in hospital nursing, army nursing and aged care nursing. What impressed me about Denise were her four strengths:
• Competence – I had complete confidence in Denise’s ability to assess a patient, contact me when necessary and carry out my recommendations.
• Care – Denise had a very good grasp of residents’ needs. Also, she would stop what she was doing to attend to a resident who needed attention promptly.
• Compassion – Denise was tuned in to residents’ suffering and needs.
• Coordination – Denise was skilled at coordinating all those involved in the residents' care.

It was a pleasure to watch a skilled health professional at work. I can also say that the positivity and sense of humour she brought to the job eased the burden of suffering of the residents at the end of their lives. It also buoyed up the other staff at the Aged Care Facility. I can highly recommend her to anyone needing the services of an Aged Care Nurse.

"Professional, efficient & real empathy."

My name is Dr Adela Tomoni, and I am a General Practitioner in Brisbane.

I have been a visiting GP at Bellevue / Roshana Care Centre in Ferny Hills. Denise was the Clinical Nurse who accompanied me on doctor’s rounds and provided me with the clinical support required for the residents under my care at Bellevue Care.

I have known Denise professionally and personally for a few years and I can testify she is an outstanding nurse with extensive experience and excellent performance.

Denise is very professional and efficient, and displayed significant attention to detail in every task she was assigned to.

She always took time to understand every resident under her care and expressed empathy towards the residents, their families, and their life stories.

Denise had a very strong and caring relationship with both the residents and their families, as well as clinical oversight and guidance for the nursing team.

I can highly recommend Denise, who is now part of the leadership team at Maroon Care.

Her skills and experience are a tremendous asset so much required for elderly and disabled care.
