We offer in home care for aged people and people with disabilities who are under the NDIS and 16 years of age or over. Please note we are not set up to care for children under 16.

Aged Care Services
To engage our care services, the process is that we will come and visit, discuss requirements, go through and or develop formal care plans, agree on frequency and types of support and discuss anything that is specific and important to the person who will be receiving care. This usually, but not always, includes the family members of the person receiving support.
All our staff are human beings who care about what they are doing and are totally focused on maintaining the dignity and right to self determination of our clients. We will not let you down when it comes to caring for your loved ones.

Travel
In addition we accompany people who are going on an outing or an overnight visit. We provide transport, accompanied shopping trips and accompanied travel. Denise has done an accompanied Antarctic flight with an aged care resident as well as doing visits to homes, holiday homes and the like.

Physiotherapy
We include physiotherapy from our own qualified and highly experienced staff.

Flexible support timings
Care and support can range from one visit per week to 24/7 for people requiring round the clock high level nursing care.

Qualified & Professional
All our nurses are Australian qualified, experienced, have current National Police checks, have a Queensland Yellow Card and are clear communicators. All staff have current First Aid certificates and are specifically qualified for higher level care (over and above their base nursing qualifications).

Denise Gluer is a registered nurse who I, as a GP, have worked with at the Residential Aged Care Facility, Bellevue, in Ferny Hills for the last 9 years. She was employed as a Clinical nurse, supervising junior nurses and carers, liaising with hospitals, doctors and allied health professionals and communicating with residents’ families. She brought to the job a wealth of experience in hospital nursing, army nursing and aged care nursing. What impressed me about Denise were her four strengths:
• Competence – I had complete confidence in Denise’s ability to assess a patient, contact me when necessary and carry out my recommendations.
• Care – Denise had a very good grasp of residents’ needs. Also, she would stop what she was doing to attend to a resident who needed attention promptly.
